Short version: no accounts, no ad tracking, no selling data. Here is everything.
Local reports
When you send a report, we store the type, the time, your pin rounded to about 0.7 mile, and any landmark or note you add. Links, email addresses and phone numbers are removed from notes. To stop spam and count how many different people report the same thing, we store a scrambled code made from your network address. We never store the address itself, and the code cannot be turned back into it. Reports are deleted after 30 days.
Things we do not do
- No accounts, logins or email collection on the site.
- No analytics or advertising trackers.
- No selling or sharing of report data.
Your browser
The site remembers which TV station you picked, in your own browser. It never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Other companies on the page
- Live TV plays through YouTube. When you press play, YouTube (Google) may set cookies under its own privacy policy.
- County pages show the county's own Facebook page through Meta's page plugin. Meta may set cookies under its own privacy policy.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts and the map code from cdnjs.
- The site runs on Cloudflare, which keeps basic request logs to run and protect the service.
- Sponsor links go to the sponsor's own site and its own policies.
